Create client sites automatically

Nobody on your team should be building websites by hand. An order, a form or a step in your CRM can create a client’s site, and you can be told the moment it’s ready.

There are four ways to do it. Most sellers only ever need the first one.

Way What starts it What you set up Guide
Your storefront A client pays on your shop One product per kind of site Sites from storefront orders
No-code tools A form, a payment somewhere else, or a CRM step A flow in n8n, Make or Zapier Form with n8n, Payment with Zapier, CRM step with Make
Site ready alerts AnyPress, when a site finishes building A webhook Email the client when their site is ready
Your own code Your app An API key API keys and partner keys, Fields for a new site

An example: a web studio with dozens of clients #

A web studio sells websites under a few brands, so it has a reseller account. Its owner never signs in to anything. One person on the team set this up once, in an afternoon:

  1. A new client says yes. They fill in the studio’s intake form, or the deal is marked won in the CRM. That’s the only thing a person does.
  2. The flow asks AnyPress for a site. One step in n8n sends the client’s business name and email, the studio’s starting site and the size. The deal number goes with it, so a retry can never make a second site.
  3. AnyPress builds it in minutes: its own WordPress and database, copied from the studio’s starting site, with the client’s login made for them.
  4. Everyone hears about it. When the site is ready, AnyPress calls a second flow. It emails the client their address and login link, adds the site to the CRM and posts in the team chat.
  5. The bill takes care of itself. Every live site, across all the studio’s brands, is on one wholesale bill on the 1st.

The person who set it up still sees every site, its backups and its jobs at app.anypress.io.

Good to know #

  • Always send your own id (externalId) when you create a site: the order, deal or form entry number. If a flow runs twice, the second request gets the site that’s already there instead of a new one.
  • To take a site offline when a client cancels somewhere else, see Suspend a site when a client cancels.
  • Your clients never see AnyPress. The flows are yours, the emails come from you, and sites sold on your shop show your brand.
  • Need help with a flow or a partner key? Email support@anypress.io.
