Choose your stores’ plugins

Every site you sell starts with your starting site’s plugins. You can add your own on top, from wordpress.org or as premium uploads, and switch off ones you don’t want.

Add a wordpress.org plugin #

  1. At app.anypress.io, open Plugins.
  2. Search, like “forms”, “events” or “SEO”.
  3. Pick the plugin and choose which kinds of site get it. It’s pinned to its current version until you update it there.

Add a premium plugin #

  1. In Plugins, upload the plugin’s .zip file as the vendor ships it (up to 64 MB).
  2. We check it’s a real plugin and not a hacked or “nulled” copy.
  3. If it needs a licence key, add it as a setting like GF_LICENSE_KEY. Keys are stored encrypted and go to every site with the plugin, so nobody has to type them into each site.

Switch a plugin off #

Choose a plugin your starting site has, and pick the kinds of site that should leave it switched off. It stays installed, so you can turn it back on later.

When sites get the change #

Plugin choices are built into your next version, so every site gets exactly the same files. Sites get them when they move to that version. A plugin installed by hand on one site is lost the next time that site moves to a new version, so always add plugins here.

At most 25 added plugins per storefront. Resellers can also set plugins once for all their storefronts. A storefront’s own choice wins over the reseller’s.

Plugins that can’t be added #

Some plugins clash with the hosting and are refused:

  • page caching: we cache pages for you;
  • backups and site moving: we back up and move sites for you;
  • SMTP and email-sending plugins: sites already send email, and it’s counted against the plan;
  • file managers, server firewalls and update managers.
