A client fills in your intake form, and n8n creates their site. You need an API key.
Steps #
- Start the workflow with an n8n Form Trigger, or a Webhook node that your form posts to.
- Add an HTTP Request node. Method POST, URL
https://api.anypress.io/v1/tenants. - Authentication: Generic Credential Type, then Basic Auth. Your API key is the user and its secret is the password.
- Turn on Send Body, choose JSON, and fill it from the form’s answers:
{
"name": "{{ $json.business }}",
"externalId": "form-{{ $execution.id }}",
"wordPressUserName": "{{ $json.email }}",
"wordPressUserEmail": "{{ $json.email }}",
"wordPressUserRole": "administrator",
"size": "small"
}
The answer comes back straight away, before the site is built. It includes the site’s address:
{ "id": "…", "externalId": "form-…", "baseDomain": "kettle-and-crumb.anypress.site" }
To email the client when the site is ready, see Email the client when their site is ready.
Tips #
externalIdmay only contain letters, numbers and dashes.- Using Fluent Forms Pro on your own WordPress site? Its Webhook feed can post each entry straight to the n8n Webhook node.
