Your first day as a reseller

You’ve been approved as a reseller. Here’s how to get every brand selling.

1. Sign in and invite your team #

Your approval email has an invitation link. Accept it, then sign in at app.anypress.io with the same email address. Sign-in links are emailed to you, so there’s no password to remember. You’re the owner of your reseller team.

Open Team and brand > Team and invite the people who help you. Everyone you invite reaches every storefront, so you only invite them once. Members can look but not change anything; admins can do everything except manage owners. See Add your team.

New to the dashboard? Press Take the tour on Overview for a quick walk round.

2. Set up your first storefront #

Your account starts with one storefront, and usually a ready-made shop for it: a WordPress site with a cart, checkout and customer accounts. Its address is at the top of Start here on Overview.

For each storefront that sells through a shop, do what a seller does on day one:

  1. Sign in to the shop’s admin with Lost your password? on its login page.
  2. Connect a payment method in FluentCart, such as Stripe. Clients pay you directly.
  3. Add a subscription product and give it a Website plan integration, so every paid order builds a site.
  4. Make a test purchase and check the site shows up under My website on the shop’s account page.

Your first day as a seller walks through each step.

3. Add a storefront for each brand #

You can run several storefronts. To add one for a new brand, region or kind of client:

  1. Open Reseller account in the sidebar. In the Storefronts card, press Add storefront.
  2. Give it a name, usually the brand it sells under.
  3. Under Copy setup from, pick one of your storefronts. The new one gets that storefront’s WordPress version and starter template, so New site works as soon as it has built (a minute or two). Stores, keys and team aren’t copied.
  4. Press Add storefront. Everyone on your team can use it straight away; press Switch to it on the message that appears.

The card shows how many storefronts you’ve used of your account’s limit. When you reach it, the button turns off: email support@anypress.io for more. Owners and admins see the button; members who can only look don’t.

Developers can also create storefronts with a partner key. See API keys and partner keys.

Each storefront keeps its own products, prices, plugins and starting sites, so every brand can sell something different. Its live sites count toward the same monthly bill.

4. Switch between your storefronts #

Once you have more than one storefront, a storefront switcher appears at the top of every page. Pick a brand’s storefront to work on it: Stores, Store designs, API keys and the rest follow your pick. To see every site at once, open Stores and press All storefronts.

5. Put your own brand on it #

  • Team and brand > Branding: your name, logo and colour on the dashboard, and your own dashboard address like dashboard.yourstudio.com.
  • Each shop goes on its brand’s own domain. See Use your own domain.
  • When a client’s site is offline, visitors see your name, not ours.

6. Check your bill #

Open Reseller account in the sidebar. The Bill tab shows this month’s bill so far: every live site across every storefront, at your wholesale price, worked out by the day. The bill is sent through Stripe on the 1st for the month before. See Reseller accounts for how it’s worked out.

7. Connect your tools #

If your developers or automations create sites, make one partner key on the Reseller account > Partner keys tab instead of a key per storefront. It works with n8n, Zapier, Make, HighLevel and your own code. See Create client sites automatically.

Before you go live #

  • One test purchase per storefront, with the welcome email checked.
  • Each shop on its own domain, and visible to search engines (Settings > Reading in the shop’s admin).
  • Your team invited, with the right roles.

Questions? Email support@anypress.io.
